Clare Wilson is a health journalist focused on medicine, health policy, neuroscience, archaeology and the life sciences. She previously edited medical features forNew Scientist. Before that, Clare was a reporter for Hospital Doctor, a weekly magazine for doctors, and for Scrip, a newsletter for the pharmaceutical industry. She writesNew Scientist’sweekly health newsletter, which goes out on Saturdays, and is an occasional guest on the BBC World Service health magazine program, called Health Check. She has won awards from the Medical Journalists’ Association and the Guild of Health Writers. She has a BSc in Cell Biology from the University of Manchester.
